I'm a Web Developer / Systems Administrator and general computer guy located in the beautiful Mid-Coast Maine region. Ive been in this industry for 10 years. I have seen many other consultants come and go in that time and have come to the realization that in this ever changing technical landscape you have to be either a little crazy or really love this stuff. I would like to think that I'm a bit of both.
My primary philosophy in web design is to never forget that humans are interacting with these website. Thus, a middle ground between information, readability, and portability must be achieved. I believe this is accomplished through a simple, intuitive user interface. One that doesn't overwhelm the visitor with data, pop-up, colors, and advertisement. A visitor should want to return to a website with the confidence that they can locate what they want quickly.
I do this for no other reason than that I enjoy it. I take only a few "gigs" at a time to ensure that we enjoy working together on your project. This, I believe is a cornerstone to a successful business relationship. From that comes a wonderful environment for your customers, potential and existing, to enjoy.
